The Aplus DNS Manager allows you to modify the zone file for your domain.
1. Log in at https://portal.aplus.net.
2. Select Start Services.
3. Select Domain Management and then select the DNS Manager application.
4. Edit your zone file as required.
5. Click the "Next" button to complete the operation.
6. Allow 24 - 72 hours for DNS propagation.
While the DNS Manager is convenient and easy to use, it is extremely powerful. Problems may

occur with your website, and email, if the zone file is modified incorrectly.

Outlook duplicate records can occur for many reasons, and in most cases, a simple fix will prevent them from happening in the future. Below you will find some of the most common causes of duplicates, and some solutions to prevent them in Outlook.

The first, and probably the most common, is synchronization of your Outlook with a PDA. Duplicates can occur here if you have the same Outlook record stored under different terms in Outlook and your PDA. For example, if you have the same contact (we'll call him Bill Henderson) in both your PDA and Outlook, and Bill's job title in your PDA is "Sales", but in Outlook he is listed as "Sales Rep", when you synchronize your PDA to Outlook it will create an Outlook duplicate record: one for Bill Henderson "Sales Rep", and another for Bill Henderson "Sales".

To prevent this, one of the easiest solutions is to get your Outlook contacts in order. You can do this by creating a new secondary Outlook account (not configured for email) and sync all of your contacts from your PDA into this account as new. You can then clean them up to match your original Contacts folder, and sync back into your PDA. Once that’s complete, you can delete the secondary Outlook account and your next sync to Outlook should go flawlessly.

Another reason for Outlook duplicate records could be that Outlook downloaded an email twice from one or more POP3 servers. This could happen for multiple reasons; a background synchronization happened at the exact time you were emptying the Deleted Items folder, messages you intentionally leave on the mail server are downloaded again on the next Send/Receive, you have two or more alias accounts pointing at the same POP3 server, or other inconsistent occurrences.

If you believe your Outlook duplicates are caused by an underlying Outlook functioning error, check with Microsoft Support at http://support.microsoft.com/; in many cases, you just need to update your software because of an Outlook bug.

Reinstallation and re-configuration of Microsoft Outlook could also Outlook duplicate records. If you install a fresh installation of Outlook with your email account, select your old .pst file as the delivery location, but originally chose to leave a copy on the server; those old emails will not only still be in your .pst file, the server will also download them again and create Outlook duplicates you will need to remove. This is because the server didn't recognize that the emails had already been received by another email account.

To prevent this problem, make sure you start Outlook with a clean .pst file after re-installation. Once the "new" email messages have been received, open your old .pst file and move only the new messages (not the old message "duplicates") into the old .pst file. Then delete the new .pst file and set your default delivery to the original .pst file.

Your firewall and/or anti-virus software can also create Outlook duplicates. In a perfect Send/Receive cycle, Outlook sends a request to the mail server for mail messages; new emails not in Outlook are then downloaded and the connection is closed. However, if your firewall or anti-virus software interjects itself and causes something to fail at any point in this process (flagging a large message, etc.) the connection will not close properly. This means that any emails that were downloaded before the point of failure will be downloaded again on the next Send/Receive, thereby creating duplicate emails in your Outlook inbox.

If you think your firewall/virus scanner is causing Outlook duplicates, change your security settings to not interfere with Outlook. Outlook's "in-house" security measures are tight enough as it is, and it does the work for you, so there’s no need to worry.

Check your rules in Microsoft Outlook – they could be set to send the same message to two or more places. If you have multiple rules set up to deal with incoming email messages, there's a possibility that Outlook could create duplicates in order to satisfy two different rules. For example, if you have a rule to send all emails from "Jack Morris" to a specific folder, and all emails with the subject line "Outlook" to go to the same folder, and you get an email from "Jack Morris" with "Outlook" in the subject line, technically both rules apply. Outlook will then move the message twice, creating a duplicate email that you will want to remove.

To prevent this problem, be sure to add the action "stop processing more rules" to the rule. This way, if a rule has already been applied to a message, no further action will be taken and duplicates will not be created to satisfy all rules.

When the worst comes to the worst,

Disable the Microsoft Exchange Scan add-in in Microsoft Outlook

Outlook 2010
1.    Launch Microsoft Outlook 2010.
2.    Click File, Options, Add-Ins.
3.    Under Add-Ins, select Microsoft Exchange Add-in and click Go.
4.    In the COM Add-Ins window, deselect Microsoft Exchange Add-in and click OK.
5.    Exit and restart Outlook.

Solution from Alexa Web-solutions support team:

Most probably the slider requires different jquery version than the one that Artisteer is using.
Please try the following workaround:

- open template/html.tpl.php file, find this string:
<?php print art_compatible_scripts($scripts); ?>

- and change it to:
<?php print $scripts; ?>

This should help.

Best regards
LeXo

Search engine optimisation is the most powerful marketing tool available to modern businesses.

The benefits of a great Google/ any other search enging ranking are phenomenal. Just some include:

  • Increased traffic to your website.
  • Greater conversions, whether it be inquiries, sales or booking.
  • Improved visibility beyond local markets.
  • Increased brand credibility.
  • Higher return on investment then traditional advertising.
  • Remaining ahead of competitors.

Why SEO?
People trust websites that are on the top of Google because Google is considered to be a reliable judge of a website’s merits.

What about Paid Links?
Studies show people are less likely to trust websites that pay to be in the top spots.

These “sponsored links” are usually in a shaded areas on the top or right hand side of your browser.

Sometimes the Wimax internet on the Main laptop isn't accessible by the LAN network...

(This solution is in the assumption that the IP addresses are intact and not changed... i.e: the LAN is working good and fine...)

Simple steps to troubleshoot this include;

1. Ensure the Switch is on and all network cables are plugged in correctly

2. Proceed to the network and sharing center

3. Single click on the Wimax connection status.. (you receive a dialogue box)

4. In the new dialogue box, click on properties and then sharing

5. If sharing is enabled, first disable it for the mean time...and click OK

6. Give it like 1 min to refresh and then re-enable the sharing option again...

7. Click OK and then check to see that your computers can access internet.. (This should be working now)

It sounds like you may have Screen Curtain on, a function of Voice Over that darkens the screen. You may find the following article helpful (it is aimed at the iPad, but the same functions apply to the iPhone as well):

If VoiceOver is on and the screen is black, but you can still use the device by pressing volume up and volume down, you may have screen curtain on. Try triple-tapping using three fingers on the device display to turn off screen curtain. Or connect the device to iTunes (see above).

Drupal 7: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

This error can happen when the online server has a problem with bypassing the localhost address.....

My solution goes as below;

I logged in to the phpmyadmin panel and looked for the server ip address which in this case its

Server: XX.XXX.XXX.XX, Then Under settings.php, i replaced the host: "localhost" with "XX.XXX.XXX.XX"

Please change the XX.XXX.XXX.XX to suit your server IP address

Sometimes you may also need to disable all clean urls....

First of all you have to enable the Content_Permissions module (part of the cck package)?

The content permissions module creates a new section under User Management -> Permissions -> content_permissions module - ensure anonymous users have permissions to view each of the image or file fields that have been created.

You should have fun..... Hit me up..!!!

- Copy and paste the code below into your .httpaccess, sometimes its hidden, so while opening file manager under your

cpanel, the next pop up window, check show hidden files box to see this file:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
   RewriteEngine on
   RewriteBase /
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !=/favicon.ico
   RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]
</IfModule>

- Then, login to the drupal site, for Drupal 7, visit here: yourwebsite/?q=user/1#overlay=admin/config/search/clean-urls
Or under the admin menu, go under: Configuration-search and metadata-clean urls
- Then refresh and check the enable clean urls box, BINGO.

  • For wordpress, login to the admin end, under settings, look for parma links, it might be under appearance, then change to the desired link/ url type probably with the q=

  • Copy and Paste this code in your index.php file. It will show you the error message instead of blank page. At least the root of the problem can be known. Paste it right after php tag at the top before the rest of the codes.

    error_reporting(E_ALL);
    ini_set('display_errors', TRUE);
    ini_set('display_startup_errors', TRUE);

  • Then, after seeing the error, follow the instructions, you can also check the error log file on the root folder.
  • Last clear or empty all the cache tables, every table with cache, then refresh the page, just incase, make sure the

garland theme is uploaded, switch to/ set it as default and then switch back to you desired theme, that should work.

  • It could very well be that one of your modules is running out of memory.

You can add one line of code to your index.php file to allow Drupal to run with more memory than the default setting:

ini_set('memory_limit','256M');
Add the above code on the line after the ?php in your /drupal/index.php file. If everything starts working fine, then

you can identify what is causing the memory problem (highly likely it's a module).

Disable a module, and then comment out the ini_set('memory_limit','256M'); and see if it loads now.

In Artisteer 4, While under Export Options, under General, via Responsive Web Design, select/ choose
No, to turn of the responsive design, then ok and export.

Note that, when this option is Yes selected, the theme will be distorted on most mobile devices,
else if No is selected, it will display well default on all platforms. This is why in Artisteer 3
theres no Responsive web design option, No is by default so the themes show well.

================================================================

NOTE THAT, Responsive templates in Artisteer are designed for the optimal viewing experience on
desktops, tablets (Landscape and Portrait orientation) and smartphones (Landscape and Portrait
orientation). It was not designed for specific devices and requires that the browser (Firefox,
Chrome, Opera, Safari etc.) of the device supports HTML5+CCS3.

The responsive design becomes active when a website does not fit the browser window of the device,
in other words, when the browser window size is smaller than the width of the website. The default
(desktop) layout appears if a website width is the same or less than the browser window size. It
means that the desktop layout may appear on the tablet in Landscape orientation, but changing
orientation to Portrait will activate the responsive style rules for tablets.
